Trump and How We Got Here

By Ellen

I have a message for any who choose to listen.

God is all over what we see and experience, and most certainly in these times. This became clear to me when I understood that Donald Trump was our Cyrus with his election win in 2016. (That election win is a discussion in itself.) It is my firm belief that this man was chosen for such a time as this and that he is under a special protection from God, Himself, for this historic and dangerous time.

In 2007, and like many, I began digging into some of the more obvious manifestations of the evil one’s tools of destruction used against our country, our people, and our government. In earnest, it began in 1913 with the unlawful creation of the Federal Reserve. THAT move pretty much sealed our fate in the ongoing and continual looting of our people. I think that most have no idea how that really works, let alone that it is a fact of our hidden history.

Many of us watched with disgust as our President was continually mocked, disrespected, slandered, spied upon, continually falsely accused, dragged through two entirely false impeachment attempts and so many more false accusations. That he accomplished anything during his first term, to me, is quite amazing. The fact that our criminal government apparatus, the lying media, and supposed luminaries were arrayed against him should have been a clear sign that something was greatly amiss.

In 1962, the SCOTUS (with 8 of the 9 “justices” previously being a governor; a senator; an assistant to the Sec of Labor & founding member of the ACLU; Sec of Labor; chairman of the SEC—all except one had similar political backgrounds) decided that prayer in schools, Bibles in schools, the Ten Commandments were to be hidden from view, no more benedictions and invocations in school activities, no mention of Christmas in schools BECAUSE THESE VIOLATED OUR FIRST AMENDMENT. Freedom of speech does not apply to religious discussions—and it goes further than this. One justice dissented.

Did you know this? I didn’t.

All guidance and guardrails were removed from children in the sexual realm. What have we seen in the ensuing years? It’s worse than you think—and, as usual, pretty much hidden except for the explosion in teen and unwed girls’ pregnancies, STDs, pre-marital sex, divorce rates……

Prior to this period of time—before the ban on religious teachings, problems in public schools consisted of talking, chewing gum, making noise, running in the halls, getting out of turn in line, wearing improper clothing, and not putting paper in wastebaskets. Contrast those issues with the issues now (as of 1992): rape, robbery, assault, burglary, arson, bombings, murder, suicide, absenteeism, vandalism, extortion, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, gang warfare, pregnancies, abortions, and venereal disease.

The changes in kids’ behavior was so marked, that by 1965, the US DOJ was tracking youth violence in a separate category. That was only three years following the SCOTUS decision.

Did you know that President Lincoln said this: “The philosophy of the classroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.” That was about 163 years ago. Perhaps he knew something that we were never taught.

Let me also share what George Washington said in his Farewell Address. His warning was thus: “And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality may be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds…reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

In other words, we have been lulled into believing that education is the answer to everything. Our SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Scores) scores plummeted almost immediately after that heinous SCOTUS ruling which, I might add, is entirely unconstitutional because it negates our First Amendment.

Washington’s contemporaries knew differently. They KNEW that morality would disappear without religious principles undergirding our government at all levels, our families, and ourselves.

The downstream result has been catastrophic.

What have we been observing for the past 64 years following the SCOTUS ruling? Much of it hidden but some of it has been undeniable. I am old enough to have experienced prayer in my schools in Massachusetts until 1964 or thereabouts. Its removal was very quiet. In 1967 or 1968, I observed first-hand the utter chaos and disrespect in one Junior High classroom. That was very eye-opening, shocking.

I offer another quote that seems to fit well here: “Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled, either by a power within them, or a power without them; either by the word of God, or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible, or by the bayonet.” –Robert Winthrop, a Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and a contemporary of both John Quincy Adams and Daniel Webster.

Did you know that our legislatures introduce some 170,000 laws PER YEAR to control our behavior or prosecute criminal behavior? If we are not teaching or learning internal moral standards, it’s inevitable that we fall to external restraints and prohibitions.

Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, “…we now waste so much time and money in punishing crimes, and take so little pains to prevent them.” and “The great enemy of the salvation of man, in my opinion, never invented a more effectual means of extirpating Christianity from the world than by persuading mankind that it was improper to read the Bible at schools.”

Many have observed that our families have been under attack as well. Our courts also have been eviscerated of any mention of God, religion, and even our founding documents. (Our courts are a whole other discussion.) Consider the perversion of family composition that has taken place. There are no more protections for children from sterilization, egregious lies about their genders, homosexual “parents”, and being taught lies about their own country’s history, its public servants, and the total absence of any true morality.

History and statistics fully support the damage caused by the removal of religion and prayer from schools (and the rest of the teachings that replaced it made it much worse.)

I think this verse sums things up well:

“If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain.” Psalm 127:1

All of this leads me back to my first paragraph. Having watched the drama from 2016 to this year, 2026, my view of Donald Trump’s presidency now includes him being a type of David with his sling and stone, standing against the satanic represented by those behind the scenes pulling all the strings. I also see him as a type of Daniel, who survived a lion’s den and a fiery furnace. His furnace has been non-stop with the continual litany of lies, slander, mockery, disrespect, assassination attempts, shameful judicial overreach, a total blockade by the supposed public servants in our CONgress, and traitorous actions by those who know better. The stakes are high. We either go back to the destruction of our Christian-based country or we continue in this epic war to bring our country back to its Godly roots. It is either/or.

Again, it’s my firm belief that God wants His people to be free to (1) hear of Him, (2) choose whom they want to align with, and (3) live in a country that espouses these principles OR establish these principles for that purpose.

Because of the egregious lies that continue to be told about President Trump, many have no idea that he is carefully and constitutionally steering this American ship back to her founding principles. He is the first president in my lifetime that has given thanks and praise to our Creator. Anyone who considers himself or herself to be a Christian needs to examine the source of their erroneous beliefs about this president.

I do not and will not apologize for having followed the military intel given by what’s known as Q. I found that what I had discovered in earlier years dovetailed well with the intel. Many have dismissed Q as not worthy of their attention, more have mocked and derided this source of information. As always, we have the choice to accept, reject, or investigate further, beforehand. When I became a Christian in 2014 and understood the significance of President Trump’s first election win, all of this came together for me and has continued to do so.

My joy has been to discern God’s hand in all of this every day. We are living in a most amazing time where, if you step back a bit and allow that you might need other information to make sense of what is displayed before you, you may be rewarded with uncommon views and more faith, day by day.

I cannot wallow in all that’s going on that’s so wrong. I know, without a doubt, that we will be free and our freedom will “infect” other countries and so, those people will be freed. This is our Exodus from the bondage of slavery that comes when we forget our God and His great goodness and authority. His way promotes happiness, morality, kindness, and love.
