The Word Democracy is a touchy feely ,modernistic Humanistic feel good word that is all inclusive but without the rules and constraints contained in a Republic. That’s why the new world order loves it so much. It is a place where Bill Clintons statement “what is the meaning of ‘is’ ” can live. Republic on the other hand is a more defined structure that contains rules and statements than can not be abridged. It is the difference between a Religion and a philosophy. Unalienable rights can not live in a democracy ,as they can simply be voted away. Our forefathers knew this when one of them said, “This government will only work for a moral and religious people.” [rough John Adams quote] The main sticking point for people that chafe against the Republic is that it requires the acceptance of the fact that Unalienable rights can only come from God . The God our founders referred to as the “God of Nature, and of Nature’s God”. That one simple statement separates the wheat from the chafe. The Darwinist, evolutionist, from the intelligent design. I find that people that insist that we are a Democracy rather than a republic are invariably Atheistic, In my humble opinion.
